Logbook
A running log of the projects: SDR, homelab, a Minecraft server, a kids' electronics track, a few pieces of software. Assembled from the commits, issues and decision records of the week it covers, so it says what happened rather than what was planned.
Dead ends are in here on purpose. They are most of the work.

Eleven repos touched. A Minecraft metro line got built and then trapped everyone who walked into a station. A stock-footage tool researched itself out of existence. And a decision-record number got claimed twice.

A tool for managing stock-footage contributions, scoped down to almost nothing in four days — because the data it depended on doesn't exist in machine-readable form.

The receiver got characterised with nothing connected to it, on purpose — you cannot tell whether an antenna helped if you never measured the radio on its own.

Candle storage, chart event overlays and a service detail popup all landed. Then three commits went on renumbering a decision record that two branches had both claimed.

A server-side subway on Paper minecarts: plugin chosen, test line built, stations found to be sealed boxes if you arrive on foot. Plus a bake-off with no verdict.
- homelab, week 32: provisioning became code, and the fleet moved out

Host setup is Ansible now and has actually been run. Monitoring arrived, bound to the private network. And the fleet configuration stopped being a subdirectory.
